This page expands on our Shipping Policy with the per-region detail customers most often ask about — production windows, transit times, indicative costs, and how customs and taxes work for your destination.
How fulfilment works
Every Ricki Robin product is printed on demand by Printful and shipped from the Printful facility nearest to you. We do not hold inventory ourselves. The benefit: no warehouse stock — every item is made to order. The trade-off: production takes a few working days before the parcel ships. We are transparent about timing at every step.

Time to your door below is the total business-days estimate from order to delivery, shown to you at checkout. It already includes production. Estimates are from carrier data, not guarantees.

Express is not offered on every destination. For Australia, New Zealand, and rest-of-world destinations, Standard is the only option — the carrier network does not support a faster service we can stand behind.
Indicative shipping costs
Costs are calculated live at checkout based on your address, cart contents, and the carrier rates Printful negotiates with each region's logistics network. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Free UK Standard shipping automatically applies on UK orders of £85 and over — no code required.
The table below is indicative for a single-item parcel. Multi-item parcels may differ slightly. The actual rate at checkout supersedes this table.

United Kingdom
Currency at checkout: GBP.
Tax/VAT: UK VAT registration is in progress. Until it is active, no UK VAT is added. Once active, prices include UK VAT automatically.
Customs/duties: none — domestic delivery.
Free shipping: Standard shipping is free on UK orders of £85 and over.
European Union
Currency at checkout: EUR.
Tax/VAT — IOSS picture: Since the UK left the EU customs union, parcels from us into the EU are imports. We are in the process of registering for the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme:
- With IOSS active: destination-country VAT is collected at checkout and included in your price. Your parcel clears EU customs without delay or extra fees from your courier.
- During the brief interim period while our IOSS issuance completes (expected mid-May 2026): you may be asked by your local courier to pay destination VAT plus a small handling fee on delivery. We make this clear at checkout if it applies.

Norway, Switzerland and Iceland customers: these countries sit inside Europe but outside the EU customs union, so your local customs authority will charge import duties and VAT on delivery. We can't pre-collect these charges. Please factor them in when you order.
United States
Currency at checkout: USD.
Tax/VAT: sales tax is added at checkout where we have a US tax obligation; otherwise no tax is added.
Customs/duties: for parcels under USD 800 (the de minimis threshold), no import duty applies. Most Ricki Robin orders fall under this. Where Printful fulfils domestically (US-to-US), no customs apply at all.
Canada
Currency at checkout: CAD.
Tax/VAT: tax-exclusive at checkout. Provincial taxes (GST/HST/PST) and any handling fee apply on arrival.
Customs/duties: customer's responsibility on delivery.
Australia / New Zealand
Currency at checkout: AUD (NZ falls back to AUD).
Tax/VAT: tax-exclusive at checkout. Local GST applies at the border.
Customs/duties: customer's responsibility on delivery.
Service: Standard shipping only on this zone — Express is not offered by our carrier network.
Switzerland, Norway, and non-EU European
Currency at checkout: GBP.
Tax/VAT: tax-exclusive at checkout. Local VAT and any handling fee apply on arrival.
Customs/duties: customer's responsibility on delivery.
Rest of world
Currency at checkout: GBP.
Tax/VAT: tax-exclusive at checkout.
Customs/duties: import duties, taxes, and customs handling fees may be charged by your local customs authority on arrival. These are the customer's responsibility. We declare the value accurately on every customs form.
Service: Standard shipping only on this zone — Express is not offered by our carrier network.
Tracking
Every parcel has a tracking number. The shipping confirmation email contains the tracking link. Most carriers update within 24 hours of dispatch and again at every transit milestone. If your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 working days, email support@ricki-robin.com and we will investigate.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Once an order has gone into production, we cannot redirect it. If you spot an error in your shipping confirmation email, write to support@ricki-robin.com immediately and we will do our best to intercept — but production-side address changes are not guaranteed.
We do not deliver to PO Boxes in the United States by default (the carrier network preference is street addresses). UK PO Boxes are supported by most UK carriers. Where in doubt, write to us before ordering.
Lost, stolen, or undelivered parcels
If tracking shows your parcel was delivered but you have not received it:
- Check with neighbours and your courier's safe-place log.
- Wait 48 hours — late updates do happen.
- Email support@ricki-robin.com with the order number.
We open a claim with the courier and replace or refund per the Refund Policy.
Combined orders and split shipments
Orders containing items printed in different Printful facilities may ship as separate parcels at no extra cost to you. Each parcel has its own tracking number. The total shipping fee charged at checkout is the combined fee — you are not charged twice.
Peak and holiday periods
We do not run sales, but Q4 (November and December) is our busiest period regardless. Production and carrier networks both run slower in late November / December. We post peak-period guidance at the top of this page in mid-November each year.
UK bank holidays, US federal holidays, and EU public holidays mean carrier networks pause. Allow 1–2 extra working days for orders placed in the week of a major holiday.
Force majeure
Strikes, weather events, public health disruptions, or carrier network outages can delay parcels through no fault of ours or our partners. We keep customers informed through email when a known disruption is affecting an in-flight order. Where a delay is materially long, we offer a refund if you would prefer not to wait.
