About
"A Robin for every story."
Ricki Robin makes hoodies and sweaters. £60 each, printed one at a time when you order, shipped worldwide. The brand carries a real person's name and a story you'll find below.
Most lives carry weight that doesn't fit a slogan, a cause, or a category. The Robin sits with whatever you bring to it. One piece might be funny. One might be heavy. One might be about colour, sport, a garden, or something we'd never have thought of. The story changes every time. The thread stays.
Ricki was my aunt. My dad's older sister.
Years on, cancer took her. She went through chemo, kept her humour right through it, tried for a long time. Eventually it got too big. She was gone.
When I was fifteen, I had nowhere to go. She took me in. She was living alone in a small flat in Langley, near London in the UK, scraping by, and she didn't have to. She did anyway.
I slept on her sofa. She kept food on the side for me every afternoon. The line I still hear now is the one she said every morning — Head up. Shoulders back.
Years later, life knocked me flat. I walked out into the back garden one afternoon just for some air. Everything was crowding in. There was a robin on the fence. It hopped closer and closer, until it was only a few feet from me.
It kept happening. Every bad spell, the robin showed up. Someone close to me said, "When a Robin appears, loved ones are near." I said it could be Ricki.
That's where the name came from.
"A Robin for every story" means the Robin holds more than one life. It holds mine. It leaves room for yours. Ricki gave me a chance when no one else would — and this brand is how that chance keeps going.

How we make our hoodies and sweaters
Every Ricki Robin garment is made one at a time, when you order it. No overstock. No warehouse stock. Each piece is printed in our partner's facility on a Stanley/Stella organic cotton blank — heavyweight build, regular unisex fit — and shipped directly to you.
We use direct-to-film and direct-to-garment printing. The print sits into the fabric rather than on top of it.
Every item is printed when you order it. There's no end-of-season stock to clear, no markdown to engineer. £60 is what the piece costs to make well and run a brand around — not a number engineered to feel like a deal.
The Ricki Robin Fund
£2 from every sale goes to the Ricki Robin Fund. The Fund supports the spirit Ricki carried — small courage, ordinary acts of holding on, the people who give chances to others.
Full detail at the Fund page.
Working with designers
Ricki Robin works with independent designers. Each has their own collection and a landing page for the story behind the work, and earns on every piece they design.
The collections are live together from launch — ours among them, on the same footing as everyone else's. You'll find them all in the Designer Collections section.
