Running Never Lied – Sweater – DB Running

The plate sits on a deep graphite ground that matches the garment colour so it reads as one piece, not as printed-on. The slogan — Running never lied — is hand-set in bone, plain and unhurried, the way a runner would say it to themselves on the road. A volt-green frame runs around the plate with a single ECG line pulsing across the top edge — a small mechanical heartbeat reading on a panel that is mostly about quiet. A pink running shoe sits lower-left, the same pink picked up again in a small period-square at the end of the sub-line. The Robin sits upper-left of the back print in its natural painterly colours — red-orange breast, warm brown back, pale grey-white belly — the loved-one signature that bridges DB Running to the Ricki Robin storefront. The sub-line carries the dosage: Dosage: the truth. Administered by the legs. The plate is printed in full across the back of a Stanley/Stella Changer 2.0 sweater (STSU178), with the DB Running logo printed on the front-left chest. The slogan itself does not appear on the front. It lives on the back, where the person wearing it does not have to read it to know it is there.

350 grams per square metre is the kind of weight that holds shape on the chair as well as on the body. The interior is brushed fleece. The crew neck is ribbed and sits flat without rolling. The cuffs and hem are ribbed too. The cut is regular — close enough to layer under a coat, easy enough to wear on its own. It will warm you on the sofa and on the walk back from the pub.

The slogan plate is printed using Printful's DTFlex direct-to-film process, which lays a white underbase on dark cotton to render the plate's colour and detail at full fidelity. The DTFlex print is designed to resist cracking, peeling, and fading through normal wear and when washed according to the care label. The print will look sharp wash after wash. The plate is positioned to read clearly from a few metres away — far enough to start a conversation, close enough to stay private.
