Part of the Abstract Robin collection. This is Ricki Robin reimagined as abstract art — the robin rebuilt from pure colour, pattern and form. Op-art arches, kaleidoscopic mandalas, liquid chrome, cosmic light: every design in the collection turns the bird into a bold abstract composition you can read from across a room. If abstract art is your thing — the colour, the symmetry, the shapes that pull the eye in and reward a second look — the Abstract Robin collection was made for you. The robin is always in there. Half the pleasure is finding it.

A robin coming down through a burst of geometry.

No slogan, no caption — just the bird, rendered the way you have not seen it before: coming down through a sharp burst of purple and orange geometry. This is for the person who wants the artwork to do the talking. Worn on the back, read across a room, it starts the conversation before you have said a word.

A Robin for every story.

Ricki Robin exists because most lives are held together by a single moment of clarity — a sentence, an image, a vision — the one that finally arrives, on the right evening, in the right kind of quiet, and rearranges everything that comes after it. Some people carry that clarity for years before they find the words or the image for it. Some people find it and spend the rest of their life living up to it.

The brand is named for one such person, and built for the rest of them. Every design — whether written, drawn, or imagined — is one piece of that clarity, made for one specific moment in one specific kind of life. No two designs say the same thing. The right one finds the right person, eventually. That is the entire premise.

About this piece

The robin comes down through a burst of geometry — wings angled low over a sharp diamond-and-arrowhead starburst in deep purple and orange, an ember glowing at the breast. The hard geometric framing throws all the focus onto the bird at the centre. Clean, focused and striking. It is printed in full across the back of a Stanley/Stella Changer 2.0 sweater (STSU178), with the small Ricki Robin signature printed on the front-left chest. The design lives on the back, where the person wearing it does not have to look at it to know it is there.

Why this sweater

350 grams per square metre is the kind of weight that holds shape on the chair as well as on the body. The interior is brushed fleece. The crew neck is ribbed and sits flat without rolling. The cuffs and hem are ribbed too. The cut is regular — close enough to layer under a coat, easy enough to wear on its own. It will warm you on the sofa and on the walk back from the pub.

The design is printed using Printful's DTFlex direct-to-film process, which lays a white underbase on dark cotton to render the colour and detail at full fidelity. The DTFlex print is designed to resist cracking, peeling, and fading through normal wear and when washed according to the care label. The print will look sharp wash after wash. The design is positioned to read clearly from a few metres away — far enough to start a conversation, close enough to stay private.

Sizing

Designed to fit unisex. Most buyers find their usual size sits well; the Changer 2.0 has a regular cut, closer to the body than current oversized streetwear trends. If you're between sizes, size up — the heavier weight benefits from a touch of room. Imperial and metric size charts inside the Size guide drop-down below.

Care
  • Machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colours
  • Tumble dry low
  • Do not iron the print
  • Do not dry-clean
