Look once and it is a Series 1 fixed-head: the long bonnet, the covered lamps, the roofline that drops away behind the cabin. Look again and it is built from the bench: chrome tool faces run the length of the bonnet, hardware fills the mouth of the grille, and a long ratchet lies across the bottom of the ring like an underline. Count the wipers: a Series 1 genuinely carried three arms, and they are all there.
